Once PM‍‍`s peon, now owns Tk400 crore!

Talking about taking measures against corruption, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has brought up the issue of the wealth of a former employee of her house. The PM said, "He worked in my house; he was a peon ,but now he owns Tk400 crore. He can‍‍`t move without a helicopter. This is for real.

"How did he to make so much money? After I found out that, I took action against him," the premier told journalists at a media briefing at her official residence in Dhaka on Sunday. 

Pointing out that corrupt people are being caught because of the strictness of the government, PM Hasina said, "No one has carried out this kind of crackdown against corruption before." I have de-militized before this. Corruption is a longstanding problem. These messes must be cleared. You came to know because we have taken measures."
